"What ever you can do or think you can do begin it, there is no road to which there is no end".

On Thursday 4th July 2103 rider and crew will head out to Nice to complete the challenge of solo riding all 21 Stages of the 2013 Tour De France, just under 2300 miles in 18 days. The first three stages were ridden in the UK, taken from the 2014 Tour to start in Yorkshire, before heading out to Nice. The complex logistics and added cost of riding the first three stages of the 2103 Tour in Corsica were just too prohibitive, and Yorkshire and London are beautiful places!  

The purpose of putting 'Ride 21' together was to take on challenge (for the rider and young crew members) to raise funds for Action Medical Research, a UK children's charity dedicated to finding breakthrough cures into illnesses and disease that affect babies and young children in the UK.

We set ourselves a target to raise £10,000 by riding all 21 Stages. Our plan is to reach Paris by Saturday 20th July to meet up with 500 riders taking part in Action's London to Paris cycling challenge, to ride the last few kilometers of both challenges from the Champs Elysees to the Eiffel Tower for what would be a perfect end to both challenges.

We also hope to see Team Sky claim the maillot jaune in Paris and to watch the team race to glory around the Arc de Triomphe in the 100th edition of the Tour de France!

Achieving all of the above would be very special!
